1. I'm looking for some serious smartass-Dean. I'll also take cocky, arrogant, son-of-a-gun Dean. Or sex-god Dean. Or tough Dean, or protective Dean, or jealous Dean, or... I love looking at the pattern from a distance suddenly I can see everything as it is, what was just a mess of colors to me is now definition to his face, highlights from the sun those little nubs on his face where his whiskers grow.
I'm quite thrilled and also rather depressed. I don't feel much like working on Kiba I've started the pattern but as I said it isn't my pattern so its not as much fun.

I've just re-read 'He's having her baby' by glitterati (here) and am wondering if there are any more fics like this - but with a more serious tone.
I'm looking for fics where someone (preferably Rodney, but really anyone will do) gets pregnant and then for some reason or another loses the baby. Perhaps they're told they're pregnant and get all excited about it only to find out later that it's not true.
Proper tear-jerkers would be perfect.

I hope people can help me as this fic is driving me nuts.
I can't remember who wrote it or the title, all I have is that RayK ends up in a coma somehow, and is being a ghost. Ben reads him Moby Dick while waiting for him to come around. I have definate memory of Ray Verchio visiting and telling Fraser that "Hate to tell you this, Benny the whale did it." It was a slash story and I'm 99% certain I read it at the Due South Fic archives.
If anyone knows which story this is, Please let me know!

Why this must be read: If you're going to read one bloodplay/knifeplay fic, in any fandom, ever - this is it. It's basically perfection. The way it builds and just brings you deeper and deeper into the play and the relationship... It's weird that this fic should be heartwarming but it is, and it's intense and captivating how the pair grows more and more dependent on each other. One of the things that really grabbed my attention was the visual of the scars looking flattering on the body, it's not just hurting, it's an actual permanent body modification that really means something to the people involved. The sadism/masochism theme in this is just plain beautiful.
One of the best Luke/Sylar fics out there.
